This Torqit DPF back performance exhaust is built specifically for the Isuzu MU-X 3.0 TDI, (DPF Model) 02/2017 - 09/2020. The increased flow helps the engine breathe more freely, giving better response, a cleaner and deeper note and a genuine performance gain. The system is made from premium 304 grade stainless steel up to 2 mm thick, is fully mandrel bent and bolts directly to the factory system for a simple, legal upgrade.

Torqit Performance Exhaust features

Thick stainless steel (1.7–2 mm)

An exhaust system is exposed to extreme heat and rough off-road conditions. To handle this, Torqit uses stainless steel up to 2 mm thick, which keeps its structural strength even after bending. The thickness produces a deep note without cabin drone and makes the system extremely hard to crack – so you can head off-road with peace of mind.

304 grade stainless steel

304 grade stainless steel is the highest quality material used for exhaust systems, known for its strength, corrosion resistance and easy maintenance. Its high chromium and nickel content makes it far stronger and longer lasting than the 409 grade commonly used in the industry – it will not rust and withstands high temperatures and water crossings.

Internal & external welds

Every flange is TIG welded inside and out for maximum strength and leak-free joints. TIG welding is more precise and time-consuming than the usual MIG technique, but it is essential to premium quality – producing clean welds with no spatter.

Mandrel bent system

Torqit's in-house pipe bender uses a flexible mandrel to support the pipe from the inside, preventing crinkling. This maintains a smooth, constant diameter throughout, reducing back pressure and improving engine efficiency. Precise programming guarantees the factory route is followed for an exact fit.

Double braided flex bellows

Flexible exhaust joints absorb movement and vibration from the vehicle chassis, preventing stress on the system and stopping cracks from forming. Torqit's 304 grade double braided flex bellows prevent gas escaping and extend the life of the system.

Installation

The Torqit exhaust is a DIY bolt-together system supplied with a complete fitting kit; a basic socket and spanner set is normally all that is required, and it can be fitted in a few hours without a hoist.
